Apply for a Hidden Vale Wildlife Top-up Scholarship to support your higher degree by research project.
Note - there is no scholarship round open at this time.
Closing dates will be published here, and on the UQ scholarships website when a round is open.
This scholarship is for $7000 per year for three years for PhD candidates. It is not a full scholarship, and is designed to top up an existing UQ scholarship.
Eligibility
This top-up scholarship is open to PhD candidates researching wildlife conservation in association with the Hidden Vale Research Station.
To be eligible you must:
- complete your PhD full-time and onshore in Australia
- be nominated by an enrolling school or institute at UQ
- be assessed by the UQ Graduate School as meeting all conditions for admission to the higher degree by research program
- be undertaking research in direct association with Hidden Vale Research Station.
Current students
You must be in receipt of a living allowance scholarship of at least $28,092 for the year of study (but indexed annually) to be eligible to receive this top-up.
Future students
You must satisfy the entry requirements for a higher degree by research at UQ and conditions for a Research Training Program, or equivalent living allowance scholarship from UQ’s Graduate School
