Researcher biography
Jiaqi graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Dalian Ocean University in 2019. Continuing her academic journey, she commenced graduate studies in Biotechnology, specializing in the animal direction, at the University of Queensland in 2022. Her dedication lies in discovering natural antibiotics to replace chemical drugs for treating animal diseases, focusing specifically on bovine mastitis and skin diseases. Beyond efforts to combat antibiotic resistance, she has a profound passion for wildlife conservation. This has led her to research assisted reproduction technology (ART), contributing to the understudied field of koala spermatozoa. Ultimately, Jiaqi's goal is to use her expertise to improve the well-being of animals and promote sustainable practices in animal reproduction.
