Researcher biography

Dr. Patricio Dandy Palacios graduated with honors as a veterinarian from Paraguay in 2019. He gained experience in small animal clinics, surgery, laboratory diagnosis, and wildlife conservation, focusing on species like the Tapirus terrestris and peccaries in the Gran Chaco, South America. His passion for laboratory practices led him to volunteer in hospitals, gaining experience in molecular biology. He completed his Master of Animal Science in Wildlife Biology at the University of Queensland in December 2023 with commendation. Now pursuing a PhD in reproductive biotechnologies at the same university, he aims to impact the preservation and conservation of endangered and domestic species, aspiring to a career as a researcher and lecturer committed to animal well-being and ecological balance between animals, humans, and nature.
